Jess Strait
Global Advocacy & Data Systems Manager
In her dual role, Jess oversees advocacy program expansion in high-income countries and global technology operations.
She manages volunteer programming for individual advocates and student groups, develops grey literature on menstrual justice topics, and contributed extensively to the launch and continued growth of the Period Positive Workplace initiative. Jess brings a data-driven lens to menstrual equity advocacy and supports Days for Girls with research, critical problem solving, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Jess became involved with Days for Girls in 2018 as co-founder and president of the Penn State University Club. She holds a B.S. in Data Sciences with Honors from Penn State, where her thesis focused on period stigma among college students. She specializes in machine learning, database administration, instructional design, and technical writing.
In her free time, Jess enjoys yoga, traveling, and watching cooking shows.
