Days for Girls New Zealand is a registered not for profit in New Zealand and is a Country Affiliate with Days for Girls International. Volunteers across New Zealand mobilize to increase access to menstrual products and vital health information for women and girls around the world.

To date, New Zealand has distributed over 18,600 kits in 20 countries. About 20-25% of these go to local New Zealand women.

Our Work

Days for Girls New Zealand/Aotearoa works with groups throughout the Pacific region.

NZ teams distribute over 3,500 kits in a typical year. About 20-25% of these go to New Zealand women. We have partnerships to work with groups throughout the Pacific region. In 2019 NZ kits went to the following countries (often with multiple distributions in a given country). Borneo, Cambodia, Fiji, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Kiribati, Namibia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Tonga, Uganda, Vanuatu, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and of course New Zealand.
